olympia in april

Last night was ArtsWalk in Olympia, this weird street party where all the shops have art shows and there bands playing on the street. There was a Led Zeppelin cover band comprised of bagpipes, which I heard was awful. BONE SICKNESS played in the "Hard Rock Parking Lot" and there were cool 'Rock On!' towels with guitars on them, hanging from the show tent, and I reeeeally wanted one. A few hours after that, with food and a luminary parade (which included a large lit up octopus among others) in between, I got coffee and went to Phantom City Records to see MILK MUSIC, BRILLIANT COLORS and GUN OUTFIT. And it was a cool time.
